How to add lots of texture to your card making

Hello

Today I want to show you how easy it is to add lots of texture to your card making using the Timeless Arrangements bundle by Stampin’ Up! The dies in this bundle are absolutely beautiful and the Quatrefoil Tile embossing folder helps to add even more texture too the examples I’m sharing with you today. This first card was one of the makes from my August class.

I start with a Thick Basic White base and then embossed a layer of basic white. Before adding it to the base I glued a strip of Lost Lagoon to give a pop of co-ordinating colour. The soft sea foam hexagon (cut with the largest Countryside Corners die) was left over from the card in my last blog which you can see here. This was added with dimentionals

All the Timeless Arrangements dies were cut from basic white care and coloured with Berry Burst, Lost Lagoon and Soft Sea foam ink before being glued around the label. The label was added with dimentionals. I wanted to make this a birthday card so the sentiment is from Circle Sayings.

Another example with lots of texture

This time my card is portrait and the sentiment is also from the Timeless Arrangements dies. On both cards I added iridenscent rhinestones to add a bit of bling.

You can see that I added some of the flowers to the envelopes. I usually like to tie the envelope in with the card if I can either with a stamp or designer series paper.

Here’s the video – I’d love to know what you think of these pretty cards.
