How to make a cute congratulations card

Happy Sunday!

Today I want to show you how easy it is to make a cute congratulations card using a sketch. It’s been a while since I played along with the @global_design_project but this week’s sketch challenge #GDP378 just called to me. I love the simplicity of the sketch and was totally inspired by the creations of the Design Team.

For my card, I paired the Elephant Parade bundle from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue with some of the Dandy Designs designer series paper to create this cute congratulations card. The Dandy Designs dsp is just one of the items you can get FREE with a qualifying £90 order during Sale-a-bration, which runs until the end of February. This bumper pack of 12″ x 12″ paper contains 48 sheets, 4 each of 12 double-sided designs. The colours are so gorgeous – Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral, Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody and Petal Pink.

For the next card I used the same products (apart from the ribbon) in a different colour way. I love the cute images in the Elephant Parade stamp set and they are easy to colour. For both cards I used Stampin’ Blends and added them to a circle die cut with one of the Stylist Shapes dies. The sentiment from the Love for You stamp set in the January – April 2023 mini catalogue is white heat embossed on Basic Black card.
