A Little Lace by Stampin’ Up! – #simple stamping (and heat embossing)

Hello my crafty friends,

I hope you’ve had a good week – mine has been another busy one. Luckily, I found a few hours to “play” in my craft room, making some cards and designing projects for my card classes this coming Thursday and Saturday.

Today, I’m sharing cards featuring the gorgeous A Little Lace stamp set which at the moment you can purchase with two dies as a bundle and save 10%. The cling stamp set has some wonderful images and sentiments and the dies are absolutely stunning. This first card is clean and simple with a touch of elegance (in my humble opinion) and created with just two stamps.

I love a bit of heat embossing and white heat embossing on Crumb Cake card is wonderful.

To make this card you need:-

Crumb Cake card cut @ 14.9cm x 21m  – scored @ 10.5cm (5-7/8″ x 8-1/4″ – scored at 4-1/8″).

Crumb Cake card cut @ 10cm x 14.4cm (4″ x 5-5/8″)

E Block

Versamark

White Heat Embossing powder

Embossing Buddy

Heat Tool

Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (light and dark)

Magnolia Lane combo ribbon pack – 21cm (8-1/4″) of the Linen with white edges ribbon

Click below to watch how easy it is to make this stunning card:-

Below is the first card I made with the largest stamp and is a simple one layer birthday card.

The sentiment on the front is from Varied Vases and inside the Perennial Birthday stamp sets.

The card base on the next card is also Crumb Cake with Very Vanilla matting layers cut @ 10cm x 14.4cm (4″ x 5-5/8″) for the front and inside the card

For this card I stamped the largest image 3 times in Rich Razzleberry classic ink and spread the ink with a Clear Wink of Stella glitter brush.  The sentiment was stamped on a scrap of very vanilla and punched out with the Pretty Label punch before being layered on an Everyday Label punched from a piece of Rich Razzleberry card. Beneath both of these is a piece of Burlap Ribbon. Gold Faceted gems are added to the centre of the flowers.

Inside the border stamp is added in Crumb Cake to either side of the Very Vanilla panel. The sentiment and hearts are stamped in Rich Razzleberry.

The next card is copied / inspired from the annual catalogue. How lovely and delicate is that piece of Whisper White, layered on top of the Bermuda Bay card base.  The hearts are die cut from Rich Razzleberry using the Stitched Labels dies.

I made the card below a few weeks ago for a friend who had invited me to her wedding. She’s a purple girl like me. It was impossible to show in a photograph but the purple layer (Gorgeous Grape card) has been sprayed with my home made shimmer paint so is wonderfully sparkly. I used the edge die to cut the piece in two but ended up using both.
