Power of Hope four panel screen card

Hello my friends – welcome to my blog

I recently shared this four panel screen card (I think that’s what it’s called!) on a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Facebook group and received so many wonderful comments that I promised to share the details and make a video tutorial. I love being part of the Stampin’ Up! family and the way we support, inspire and celebrate each other. It’s been a while since I made a video, so please be kind. I’m in awe of crafters that share videos every day as they take me so long to film and edit!

The card features stamps from Power of Hope set which is part of a bundle that you can earn FREE with a £90 order during Sale-a-bration which runs until the end of March. It also has a couple of stamps from Colorful Seasons set. I will be sharing more cards made with this bundle later this week.

It is an easy fun fold card to make – you will need:-

Basic Black card cut @ 15.2cm x 28cm (6″ x 11″) scored @ 7cm, 14cm & 21cm (2 ¾”, 5 ½” & 8 ¼”)

Cherry Cobbler card cut @ 6.5cm x 12.7cm (2 9⁄16″ x 5″) x 4

Whisper White card cut @ 6cm x 12.2cm (2 6⁄16″ x 4 13⁄16″) x 4

A scrap of whisper white and designer series paper

Stamps: Power of Hope and Colorful Seasons

Ink: Memento Black, Soft Suede and Petal Pink 

Blends: Calypso Coral, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Smoky Slate

I stamped the lady on a piece of Perennial Essence designer series paper and fussy cut the dress (but you could use any DSP you have to hand).

My card was inspired by another very talented demo called Diane Evans who shared a fabulous black, red and gold three panel screen card as part of a blog hop in January – click here to see it.

I’ll let you in on a little secret – I smudged the pagoda panel so white heat embossed the good luck sentiment on a small piece of basic black. There’s always a way to cover up mistakes.
