Hello and welcome to my blog
I was absolutely amazed and delighted to be selected as one of the winners in last weeks Global Design Project challenge. There were so many wonderful entries and I was so surprised and blessed that my card was chosen!
Today I’m back to share my card for the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP256.
This week’s challenge is CASE-ing the very talented Kayla McCreadie.
I love the way Kayla created the background on her card using dies and wanted to recreate that so looked through my dies and decided to use the outline flower from the Wild Rose dies. I cut eight flowers from a piece of So Saffron card and glued them to a piece of So Saffron card measuring 10cm x 14.3cm. I glued the panel to a piece of Mint Macaron card measuring 10.2cm x 14.5cm but first punched three daisies using the Medium Daisy punch. I sprayed the whole panel with some Shimmer Spray – the sparkle looks so pretty.
I added a piece of the pretty Just Jade Gingham ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season combo pack using double sided tape across the panel. I cut a large label using another of the Wild Rose dies from a piece of Whisper White card and stamped the sentiment in Shaded Spruce and Mint Macaron ink and added the label with dimensionals. I stamped the leaves from To a Wild Rose stamp set in Shaded Spruce. I layered the three punched flowers to create a daisy and glued the leaves behind it before adding with a dimensional. I used a faceted gem (retired) for the centre of the flower. Finally, I added the panel to a So Saffron card base measuring 10.5cm x 29.6cm scored @ 14.8cm.
I hope you like my card.
As always thanks for stopping by and remember to keep it crafty.
