Hello and welcome to my blog,
Today I’m sharing a 40th birthday card I was asked to make at the beginning of the year by a friend. I love being asked to make personalised cards for friends and family and now that my friend has given the card to her sister-in-law, I can post it on here.
This card is 5¾” x 5¾” so it showed off as much of the Whale of a Time designer paper as possible. The idea is CASEd from another talented Stampin’ Up! demonstrator but sadly I can’t remember her name – I’m so sorry as I like to give credit when I’m inspired by someone.
Products used
Stamps & Dies: Whale Done, Layering Circles, Playful Alphabet
Card: Pacific Point (5¾” x 11½” scored @ 5¾”), Basic White (5½” x 11″ scored @ 2¾”, 5½ and 8¼”), Rainbow Glimmer Paper, White Vellum
Inks: Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, Pacific Point, Pretty Peacock, Versamark
Accessory: Whale of A Time sequins, White emboss powder
Tools & Adhesive: Heat Tool, Paper Snips, Multipurpose glue, Mini Dimensionals

There was a lot of fussy cutting but I find it therapeutic now and the turtles (from another sheet in the paper pack) are easy to cut out. The only stamping on the front is heat embossing and I used a retired Sale-a-bration stamp from a few years ago that I have kept in my collection! I will be selling some of my retired sets soon so watch this space.
