Hello
Today I’m sharing a cute Christmas Card that was one of four projects in my October classes. It is such a blessing to be able to host classes again and I’m forever grateful to all the my lovely friends and customers that come every month. Cardmaking is my hobby and I love sharing what I do and helping others explore their creativity. My sample card features the Merriest Moments bundle that you can find on page 43 of the Stampin’ Up! mini catalogue. I’m pleased to say it was a real hit with everyone.
This photopolymer stamp set has 16 stamps and co-ordinates with the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder which comprises 16 dies and one embossing folder. I promise to share more about the dies and embossing folder in my next blog. It is amazing!
When I wrote down all the products that I used for this card I realised I may have gone overboard but I am so happy with the way it looks I don’t care!! You can click on the YouTube link later in this post to watch me make another version – the only difference is I heat embossed the sentiment in gold rather than stamp it with crumb cake ink.
To create a slightly different card, I trimmed 2.5cm or 1″ off the front of a standard (14.8cm x 21cm scored at 10.5cm) Thick Basic White card base. A piece of Pear Pizzazz measuring 10.2cm x 14.5cm was embossed with the gorgeous Stitched Greenery die, trimmed on the short side to 7.9cm or 3″ to fit the front panel and the strip for the inside.
I often find for class projects with images that need to be die cut that it is best to create a template for the stamparatus – you can see what I mean in the video below. I used half a sheet of A4 Basic White card to die cut a label using one of the Scalloped Contours dies and the flowers, leaves and berry cluster using Merriest Frames dies.
I stamped the flowers and berry cluster in Poppy Parade, the fronds on the label in Pear Pizzazz and the die cut holly leaves in Shaded Spruce. The centre of the poinsettia is stamped in Crushed Curry. To add a bit of dimension to the berries and flower I added some Shimmery Crystal Effects.

I have listed below all the products I used so you can simply click on the images and go directly to my online Stampin’ Up! on line store. As always, thanks for stopping by and remember to keep it crafty.
