Be Inspired Blog Hop – Bright and Bold

Welcome to this month’s Be Inspired Blog Hop! Our theme is Bright and Bold — one of my favourites, because nothing makes me happier than creating with fun, vibrant colours. 💕

For my project, I decided to keep the design simple but eye-catching with a bright and bold easel card. Easel cards are such a fun fold to make — they look extra special when displayed, but they’re really easy to put together.

I have used a few of my current favourite products:

• 🌸 Pretty Florals Bundle – the gorgeous flowers make the perfect focal point!
• 🏛️ Everyday Arches Dies – I love how the arches give structure and frame the florals.
• 🎨 Textured Notes Dies – they add just the right amount of detail.
• 💬 Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack – bold, clean, and versatile sentiments for every occasions.

To keep with the theme, I reached for some of the Stampin’ Up! Brights Collection colours (Azure Afternoon, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie), layering them together to make the flowers pop. A golden arch behind the white one helps add a touch of elegance to my card and the easel fold really lets the florals shine while the sentiment takes centre stage on the inside. A double bow, a couple of tiny bees and gems add the finishing touches.
