Today I’m sharing the thank you cards I made for my customers in January. I have been wanting an excuse to create cards with the wonderful Grassy Grove bundle from the Stampin’ Up! Jan-Jun 2022 mini catalogue.
The largest die is absolutely wonderful and creates a lovely silhouette. Below is the first card I made with basic black card. I created the background by masking a sun/moon with a 1″ circle punch and then adding ink with blending brushes to create a night sky. The top layer is added with dimensionals and gives the scene more depth.
For my customer cards I decided to use evening evergreen card for the base and top layer. The background is a piece of Simply Marbleous 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. I die cut the two deer from cinnamon cider card.
I stamped the grass on the dsp layer usng evening evergreen ink and an off cut stamped the sentiment, which I punched out using the Label Me Fancy punch and made smaller. I punched another label in cinnamon cider and added with a piece of ribbon between the layers. The inside is simply stamped with Evening Evergreen. I stamped a deer on the envelope in cinnamon cider. I give you a tip for stamping with distinktive stamps in the video.
