Happy Sunday!
Today I’m sharing a card inspired by my friend and upline, the lovely Emma (Coastal Crafter), during a recent online Cuppa and a Card event. Emma really has built up an amazing community of talented ladies from around the world and we have so much fun creating online together every Friday morning (in the UK). I didn’t have the stamp set Emma was creating with so got my thinking cap on and looked through my stash to see what I could use instead.
My thoughts and prayers, like many people, have been with the people in Ukraine so I chose the Celebrate Sunflowers bundle as the sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine. I also used Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight card as the flag of Ukraine has equally sized horizontal bands of blue and yellow.
The background on the Basic White panel was created with a sponge dauber and Crumb Cake ink. However when I made my other card, I decided to use the Macrame 3D embossing folder.
Here’s a close up of the front panel and think I prefer the embossed panel.
