Another quick and simple Christmas card idea

Happy Sunday!

Today I’m sharing another quick and simple Christmas card idea using some of our pretty patterned paper. The first card is the one that I made for a recent team swap. I used products from the Storybook Gnomes suite from the Jul – Dec 2022 Stampin’ Up! mini catalogue along with the Artistically Inked stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! annual catalogue.

What is a swap?

So every other month my lovely Team Leader, Emma Goddard – The Coastal Crafter, holds a team Craft & Chat and for those who want to join in we do a swap. For a swap you make a set number of the same card / card front or 3D project and then swap them with the same number of people so you end up with a selection of different ideas and inspiration. This time fourteen of us took part and I love seeing the projects that that rest of the team come up with. Sometimes we have a theme but this time it was anything goes so I decided to make these quick and simple Christmas cards. If you would like to see the swaps I received I share them at the end the YouTube video that you can watch below.

Fourteen quick and simple Christmas Cards made for a team swap

In the photo above you can see all the swaps I made. I decided to make a card rather than just a card front so needed to make something quick and easy as I had fourteen cards to make. There are four gnomes in the Kindest Gnomes stamp set that I could have stamped and coloured but I used the co-ordinating Gnome dies to cut the gnomes from sheets in the Storybook Gnomes 12″ x 12″ designer series paper. Another designer in the paper pack was used to make a feature panel on the card front.

If you click on the image below you can see me create this version of these quick and simple Christmas card and the only change is the ribbon I used.
