Daisy Delight by Stampin’ Up card tutorial

Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry I’ve not been about for a few weeks. Life and work has been a bit hectic and I failed to find time to blog or do any new YouTube videos!

With our new annual catalogue launching on 1 June, I wanted to make a card using the gorgeous Daisy Delight stamp set (#143669) and matching punch (#143713). There are lots of cards using the large daisy image so I decided to use two of the smaller stamps and I’m really pleased with the way they turned out.

This is the card I made in the video – its a basic card but I love the way it looks and I thought it would be helpful to step it up a little for all the experienced and avid crafter’s. I hope you like them all?

The card bases are all standard A6 using whisper white card stock. The panel is made using Elegant Eggplant measuring 5.5 cm x 14.5 cm. The three stamped panels are 5 cm x 4.5 cm. The decorative element on the stepped up versions are cut using one of the Flourish Thinlits dies cut in half. Here’s the video – enjoy!

I had several important birthdays at the end of May but couldn’t show any of the cards I made until they had been received.  My gorgeous nieces and nephew became teenagers on 27th May – here are the cards I made for them.

Katie loves birds so the hummingbird from the retiring Picture Perfect stamp set was just right so I paired that with the Number of Years (#140653) and Timeless Textures (#140517) stamp sets.

The retired Everyday Hero stamp set was perfect for Cooper and with that I used the Happy Birthday Gorgeous (#143662).

For Kendal I decided to use the new Happy Birthday Thinlits die (#143700), Lots of Labels Framelits (#138281) and the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.

The Labeler Alphabet (#141936) stamp set is perfect for personalising cards.
