Stampin’ Up! – Heart Happiness #1

It’s Sunday evening and it’s been another busy week. I hope you managed to find time for a little creativity!

I’m blessed to have met some really lovely ladies through Stampin’ Up! and some have become regulars at my monthly classes. We make three or four cards using lovely SU products. Some ladies follow my samples exactly and others are inspired to design their own versions, which is wonderful.

For January 2018, I designed four cards: a birthday, a thank you, an engagement, wedding or anniversary and lastly a Valentine’s Day card.

I will share them all with you over the coming days / weeks either here or on my Facebook page (@LynnieCDesigns) – check out the sneak peek I posted yesterday?

Here are two versions of the monochromatic Valentine’s Day card made using the new Heart Happiness photopolymer stamp set. The dapper denim version is for my husband! He won’t read this so I can share it with you.  To show how quick and easy it is to make, I filmed a calypso coral version – check out my latest video tutorial below. The sentiments are from one of my new favourite sets from the new Occasions Catalogue (I know I say that a lot!) the gorgeous Petal Palette clear mount stamp set.

As with most of my cards, the base is half a sheet of A4 scored down the middle. The whisper white layer is cut 0.5cm smaller to show a small border. Each card uses one colour of ink and matching card stock. I do love clean and simple cards especially when they can be made using minimal supplies.
