Gatefold Anniversary card using Fresh Florals DSP

Hello friends

Today I’m sharing one of the cards we made at my February card class. I was originally planning to make all the projects fancy folds but decided to just do one this month, I don’t want to overwhelm my ladies as there’s a mix of beginners and experienced crafters.

Here are all the projects; a fancy fold, a card showcasing the eclipse or spotlight technique, a  card showcasing the glorious Petal Passion DSP, which just needed colouring and a last but not least the last card I shared with Amazing You SAB set and thinlits dies.

For the Thursday evening class, my sample gatefold card was in Tranquil Tide but I gave my ladies the choice of making it in Powder Pink and Fresh Fig as well. I really like the way it looked in Fresh Fig so on Saturday they all made them in Fresh Fig.

Both versions were wedding cards. In retrospect, I think maybe the Happy Wedding Day sentiment should have been on the outside rather than the inside but they are done now!

For the video which you can see below, I decide to make an Anniversary card and used Versamark and clear embossing powder on the outside sentiment – I love the magic of heat embossing.
