Happy Birthday card using Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Day stamp set

Hello there

Yippee, it’s the weekend. I hope you’ve all had a good week. It’s been another busy one for me, time just ticks away doesn’t it. It’s March already – how did that happen!

It was the birthday of a dear friend and her daughter at the beginning of February and this is the card I made for my friend.  It came out so pretty.  The DSP background really helps the beautiful butterfly pop off the page.

Products used:

Daffodil Delight cardstock (cut @ 10.5cm x 29.8cm – scored @ 14.9cm)

Whisper White cardstock (inside cut @ 10cm x 14.4cm, scraps for butterfly & sentiment

Tangerine Tango cardstock (cut @ 3cm x 10cm)

Petal Passion Designer Series Paper (cut @ 10cm x 14.4cm)

Vellum cardstock (scrap)

Leaf Punch

Beautiful Day Clear Mount Stamp Set

1/4″ Daffodil Delight Cross Stitched Ribbon

Black Memento Ink

Brights Stampin’ Write Markers

Brights Enamel Shapes

Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Mini Glue Dots

Stampin’ Dimensionals

For the version below I stamped the butterfly with Versamark and Black Memento Ink on Vellum then sprinkled on Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder before heat setting it.
