Now seagulls aren’t my favourite birds but these stamps are too cute and I knew I had to get my hands on them. I paired the Friendly Seagulls with sentiments from Beach Day photopolymer stamp set, which is in the May 2024 – April 2025 Stampin’ Up! annual catalogue. I’ve seen so many ideas that I can’t wait to create more cards, including a valentines day card for my hubby.

The base for this card is made from thick basic white and measures 20 x 21 cm, scored at 10 cm. The front panel is cut from the rest of the A4 sheet and measure 9.5 x 20.5 cm. Next I added a 3 cm strip of Country Woods 12″ x 12″ designer series paper to a 3.5 cm strip of pecan pie cardstock and glued that across the front panel. From a half sheet of basic white, I die cut three circles with one of the Stylish Shapes dies, adding colour with blending brushes. The seagulls were stamped in memento and coloured very simply with Stampin’ Blends before being fussy cut. I used scraps of the DSP to make posts for two of the seagulls. The sentiments were both stamped in memento too.
