Do you want some quick and simple christmas card ideas?

Well today I want to show you some quick and simple christmas card ideas using Festive & Fun stamp set by Stampin’ Up! This fun stamp set is in our September – December 2023 mini catalogue. The card below was one of the cards from my September card classes and was inspired by one of the cards in the catalogue. As well as the Festive & Fun stamp set I used the deckled rectangles dies and a 5cm strip of Merry Bold & Bright 12″ x 12″ designer series paper.

The cute animals in the Festive & Fun stamp set make me smile and as soon as I saw it in the mini catalogue I got loads of christmas card ideas for adults or childrens. The images are easy to colour and although I used Stampin’ Blends, you could just as easily use our Watercolour Pencils or Stampin’ Write Markers!

When I get a card idea I cannot stop at one Christmas card

The sample I made for class featured the cute reindeer, but I had more card ideas with the two other animal designs. So after class I made another christmas card, this time with the giraffe. However, as this is a slightly taller stamp, the deckled rectangles also needed to be slightly bigger. In order to step it up a little, I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the top section and added them with a dimensional. I love the way the bobble hat hanges over the edge! Even with this addition the card was still quick and simple to make.

Quick and Simple Christmas cards like this are great to make in bulk

Because the strip of designer series paper is only 5cm (2″) wide, I was able to get 12 from one sheet of 12″ x 12″ so I still have a whole sheet left over to make more of these cards for my Christmas card stash.

If you would like to see just how quick and simple these christmas cards are to make, click on the photo below or the YouTube video later in this post. As you can see I used the rhino stamp and made the card landscape rather than portrait.

Here’s the video – I hope you enjoy it and you’re inspired to make some quick and simple christmas cards.
