Today I’m back to share a fun Twist and Pop card. We made one of these cards in my March classes and I promised to share details on here with a video tutorial. With a new Stampin’ Up! annual catalogue looming, I decided to use some of my favourite products from the current catalogue that will be retiring soon.
I chose the Macrame 3D embossing folder to create a pretty background for the front of the card. After adding a label, made with one of the Stitched So Sweetly dies, I added some fussy cut plants from the Bloom Where You’re Planted 12″ x 12″ designer series paper (also sadly retiring at the end of this month) with some die cuts made with the Perfect Plants dies and added the panel to the front of the card.
The inside is decorated with more of the Bloom Where You’re Planted designer series paper. I made the mechanism and pop out panel with Cinnamon Cider card. The sentiment from Sweet Ice Cream – a retiring set I’ve not used much – is stamped in Just Jade one of the retiring In Colors.

Thick Basic White – 4” x 11½“ score at 5¾”
Cinnamon Cider – 3¼” x 10” score at 2½”, 5″ and 7½”
Cinnamon Cider – 3” x 8” mark on the long side at 2½” from each end on both sides and score to form a cross, on short side score at 1½”
Basic White – 3¾” x 5½”
Basic White – 2¼” x 3” (x2)
Basic White to cut Stitched So Sweetly label
Designer Paper
Bloom Where You’re Planted – 3¾” x 5½, 2¼” x 3” (x2), and more to fussy cutting

Instructions
1.Cut, score and fold Thick Basic White card base
2.Cut and score Cinnamon Cider pieces (see video below) to create the pop out piece and mechanism
3.Snip the tip off the closed mechanism
4.Emboss basic white layer and add to front of your card
5.Die cut a label, add fussy cut plants and die cuts with glue and dimensionals
6.Add to the front of your card.
7.Cut and add DSP to the inside of the card and two sections of the pop out panel
8.Cut basic white for the other two sections
9.Stamp sentiment on one and add to panel
10.Decorate the other three with fussy cut plants.
11.Trim the point off the closed mechanism and add to base with glue on the triangles
12.Add some Gilded Gems to the front.
