One Sheet Four Cards – Flowing Flowers and more

Happy Sunday!

Today I’m back to share the One Sheet Four Cards technique that I demonstrated at our wider Team Craft & Chat last week. I’m a fan of One Sheet Wonders and have shared a
few different variations on this blog in the past and even did a Christmas themed One Sheet Four Cards in October 2020.

Emma organised a team swap for those who wanted to join in and twelve of us took part.  If you don’t know what a swap is, you make a set number of the same card / card front or 3D project and then swap them with the same number of people so you end up with a selection of different ideas and inspiration. It’s great fun. I will share the swaps I received from the team during the week on Instagram or possibly a YouTube Live  For my swap, I decided to make card fronts. As I had a dozen to make and had left it to the last minute (as usual) this technique was a great way to make multiples quickly and was perfect for a demonstration at the meeting.

I completely forgot to take a photograph of the whole A4 sheet but above you can see how I cut it into four panels and layered it onto a Fresh Freesia mat.

Next I fussy cut an extra large flower for each panel and added that with some punched boughs. On my swap I didn’t add a sentiment as I thought the team would like to add their own but for these card fronts I heat embossed Happy Birthday from Flowing Flowers on a strip of Polished Pink as you can see in the first photo.  Emma managed to get one action shot from my demo – not that you can see it’s me!!

As some of the team were unable to come last week, I decided to film a video so they could see what I’d demo’d. This time I used Polished Pink for the main flower and mat layer and heat embossed on Fresh Freesia.

I only made up one card in the video but here are all four made up. I’m really happy because now I’ve got a whole bunch of pretty birthday cards in my stash.
