Happy Sunday!
Today I’m back
to share some samples that I made for a recent Team Craft & Chat using the gorgeous Flowing Flowers stamp set from the January – June 2022 mini catalogue. It was my first in-person Stampin’ Starfish team event and it was so lovely to meet everyone and craft together.
I was a little nervous as I gave a stamping demonstration but it was fun and everyone was very kind. I will share what I demo’d with you another time. Below are some of my samples.
I created a set of cards going from simple to stepped up using the same layout, colours and cardstock. I started with the stepped up version and worked backwards which is a little unusual but think they all turned out great. For the first card I simply used card, ink and some pretty patterned paper – this type of card is known as #simplestamping and is for a new crafter. The paper I used is from the Heart and Home Suite. I also added the same designer series paper to the envelope flap.
For the second card, I added a layer of Misty Moonlight behind the Basic White panel and I die cut the stamped panel with one of the scalloped contour label dies. I stamped and fussy cut an extra large flower to add dimension to that topper. One of the Butterflies and Flowers Layering Decoratives masks was used instead of the desiger series paper to add a pretty pattern to the background. The sentiment was stamped and added with dimensionals. Basic Rhinestones add a bit of bling.
For the final card, I used a lot of bells and whistles!! The decorative mask was again used for the background on the Basic White layer but before adding ink with a blending brush Shimmery Embossing Paste was added with a palette knife. I stamped more flowers and fussy cut them and added them with punched boughs. I tied a bow with the lovely Denim ribbon.

I had such a lovely day yesterday at the Craft & Chat with my wider Stampin’ Up! team. I gave a stamping demonstration (eek), learnt lots of photography tips and tricks, swapped projects, laughed, chatted, ate yummy cake (thank you Anne – Emma’s Mum) and made three gorgeous cards designed by Emma Goddard, our fabulous Team Leader. As usual I forgot to take any photos on the day or of my swaps!! A special thank you to Nicky, one of my direct team, for attending and enjoying the fun with me. If you would like to come along in future we would love you to join our team so if you are interested to learn more do get
in touch.
As always,
thanks for stopping by and remember to keep it crafty.
