Today I’m sharing some cute Christmas decorations that I made as gifts using the gorgeous Poinsettia dies. I bulk purchased some wooden slices from Amazon and planned to heat emboss to make decoration but that didn’t work. I suspect I should have painted them first!
Anyway the ornaments are really easy to make with half a sheet of Real Red, a piece of Evening Evergreen and a small piece of Gold foil.
I may have mentioned that I’m on a mission to use retired products from my stash so I used those for the centres of my decorations and they are so pretty.
I die cut two leaves and two each of the three flowers and used Evening Evergreen and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Markers to highlight the viens. I layers the flowers and added a dimensional between the different sized pairs to add dimension.
You can watch me make one of these ornaments in the video below.. I used a piece of the eal Red sheer ribbon and some of the gold Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots for the centre of the flower.
