A week ago I shared a photo of the never ending cards I sent to my customers last month on Instagram and other social media channels. I asked if anyone had made or received this type of card before and if they wanted me to show them how? So today I’m sharing instructions on how I make a standard A6 card using Stampin’ Up! products. Later in this post you can watch a free tutorial on my YouTube channel.
Here are some photo’s of each “page” of two other never ending cards that I made. I love making them and find them difficult to put down because they just keep moving …. hence the name!
On this first card (another Christmas card) I used some designer series paper in my stash (sadly retired) and decorated it with bits lying around on my craft desk from previous projects.
I hate waste and save all the embellishments I make – does anyone else do that? – so it feels really good to use some up.
On “page 3” be mindful about where you place things. Part of the snowflakes show on the previous page!!
On the last “page” I added one of the Tasteful Labels dies so I could write a message for the recipient.
The next card turned into a get well card for some of our neighbours who are isolating after testing positive for COVID! They feel rough but are thankfully ok.
For this card I used some of the gorgeous Hand Penned 12″ x 12″ designer series paper. On the first “page” I flipped the dsp so you can see both patterns.
The cute bear is from Count on Me stamp set, stamped in Memento and coloured with Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut. The sentiment is from Back on Your Feet and is stamped in Mint Macaron.
I added a couple of tiny Shimmer Velum butterflies. On the final page I added another butterfly and label.
You can decorate these cards with whatever you’ve got and they are easy to make in other sizes. Drop me an email if you’d like me to send you one of my templates.
