My card today is an easy fun fold Christmas Card made with products from Sweet Stockings Suite from our July to December 2021 mini catalogue. I think the cute cat and dog on the front panel are really. I was shown how to make this type of card in April by the lovely Emma Goddard, Coastal Crafter during one of her online Card and Cuppa events.
The Cherry Cobbler base is half a sheet of A4 (5⅞” x 8¼”), scored on the long side at 2″ and 3″ from either side. This is the top view. I cut two pieces of Sweet Stockings 12″ x 12″ designer series paper measuring 1⅞” x 5¾” for the side panels and another different design measuring 2⅛” x 5¾” for the front middle panel. I also cut a piece of Basic White the same size for the back panel. All the panels were added with multipurpose liquid glue.
The dsp is full of fabulous designs and characters and it didn’t take all that long to fussy cut the dog and cat images from the dsp for the front panel. The label was cut from Basic White card using one of the dies from the Hippo and Friends dies. Pool Party ink was added with a blending brush and the sentiment stamped in memento before adding the characters.
Just check out the face on the cat. It just makes me laugh and puts a huge smile on my face!
