Hello – welcome to my blog,
At the beginning of the month, I shared a cute 3D cube pop up card using some cute Penguin Playmates dsp that you can see here and as promised I’m back to share the 18th birthday card I made for my wonderful niece.
This card is a slightly bigger version and folds flat to measure 5″ x 7″.
Supplies to make the card –
Stamps:
Artistically Inked, Happiest of Birthdays, Family Party (retired)
Cardstock:
Polished Pink – 7″ x 10 ½”, 2 ½” x 10 ½” (x2) and quarter sheet for labels
Basic White – 2 ⅜” x 6 ⅞” (x2) and half sheet of A4 for labels and butterflies
Basic Black – scrap for numbers
Expressions of Ink Specialty designer series paper – 2⅜” x 2⅜“ (x4), 2⅜” x 4⅜” (x2),
Botanical Butterfly Dsp (retired) – 2⅜” x 2⅜“ (x4), 2⅜” x 6⅞” (x2)
Gold Foil – for labels
Inks:
Versamark
Accessories:
Gilded leafing, Shimmery Black Emboss Powder (retired)
Tools and Adhesives:
Dies: Butterfly Beauty, Playful Alphabets, Layering Circles and Layering Ovals (retired), Heat Tool, Cut & Emboss Machine, Adhesive Foam Sheets, Multipurpose Glue, Paper Trimmer
Here’s another C5 version.
For this one, the card base is Shaded Spruce. I used another sheet of the gorgeous Expressions of Ink Specialty DSP, Gold Metallic Specialty paper, Stitched Rectangles dies and gold heat embossing (you can now purchase a trio of metallic emboss powders here). I find this fold a bit addictive – just can’t stop making them!!
