Hello and welcome to my blog,
Today I’m sharing a really cute interactive birthday card made with the fabulous Give it a Whirl dies and the Stellar Birthday stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! annual catalogue. I really enjoyed making this card, it’s the second time I’ve used these dies and I absolutely love them.
It is SO much fun making interactive cards and these dies helped make it easy although they don’t come with instructions!! If you watch the video later in this post you can see how I made this card. I usually do a lot of video editing but this time I decided not to, so you have all the ummms, tuts and bloopers ??
I didn’t film while stamping the two astranauts in Memento ink on Basic White card, colouring them with Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut them, as I knew it would take some time and you don’t want to watch that! I think they turned out great so it was worth it and I love their cheeky little grins.
I used Misty Moonlight card for the base and front panel, adding Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy ink to create the background. I used White craft Ink for.the time starts and Dilver Foil for the die cut stars. I kept the inside clean and simple with a layer of Basix White card.
Below is the first card I made using these dies and stamps for my friends nephew. For this card I used gold foil and I heat embossed the sentiment at the bottom in white.
Inside is again kept clean and simple.
