Hello my crafty friends
I hope you are all safe and finding ways to keep yourself occupied during this time of self isolation. I’ve been in another creative slump …. so I’m sharing one of the cards from classes last month.
I think the Under My Umbrella bundle from Stampin’ Up! is adorable. The stamps are cute with a fun selection of sentiments and images plus I love a matching punch. Colouring and fussy cutting the little flowers is quite therapeutic (for me at least).
This card has a Highland Heather base – still one of my favourite colours. I used two of the Stitched so Sweetly dies for the panels from a piece of Whisper White card. I made my own shimmer mist with Balmy Blue Re-inker and Frosted White Shimmer Paint to spray the larger panel and am looking forward to making more of my own shimmer mist with other colours. Remember to let the panel dry before stamping the wellington boots and raindrops in Memento black and the umbrella, stand and flowers on another piece of Whisper White. The images are all coloured them with a selection of Stampin’ Blends before being punched or fussy cut. The inside is cute too don’t you think?
