hello stampers!
I’m a day late but doubt anyone will mind (or even notice)! As promised, I made a quick video of the swaps I received at Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage2018 in Birmingham last weekend, which I’ve already shared on my YouTube channel on Saturday but I ran out of time yesterday to do a blog post and to be honest was a little put off as the video has had very few views and someone has even given me a thumbs down!!! But I have to remind myself why I’m doing this blog (to record my creative journey and to share my love of stamping and crafting) and you can’t win ’em all. There will always be haters and I am not going to let any negative nellies upset me!
It’s probably not something that’s of interest to many people but me but I love swapping and getting to see cards and 3d items that have been created by other talent demonstrators. I tend to go for projects that have been made with products I don’t own and am completely delighted with everything.
I will go through them again and if there are contact details will be sending personal messages of thanks. Everyone is so lovely to spend their time, energy and money creating these projects to swap and I am so thankful. I love being part of the Stampin’ Up! family.
We also got loads of new Stampin’ Up! goodies at the event – here I am with a beautiful box that was filled with a gorgeous canvas bag, which I didn’t realise until later is reversible so has a fun design on the inside too.
We got our hands on the new Spring/ Summer Occasions catalogue and Sale-a-bration brochure – oh my goodness! And as demonstrators we get the chance to purchase product early. I am waiting for my delivery!!! If you don’t have a demonstrator and live in the UK let me know if you’d like a copy of the catalogue and I’ll send you one when they are available.
Also in the box was a trio of notepads, pens and a free stamp set from the occasions catalogue.
Throughout the event there are were some all attendee give-aways – on the left a large zip up bag and on the right a beautiful tool case.
Below are two more free stamp sets, on the left was an all attendee give-away and goes with a beautiful card kit in the new catalogue and on the left my prize patrol – I love them both and as soon as I’ve finishing making Christmas Cards will be sharing projects made with these wonderful sets.
Anyway that’s all for now so thank you for stopping by and keep it crafty.
