Hello my crafty friends – I hope you are well?
Today is a quick post to share a couple of cards I recently created with the Balloon Celebration stamp set from Stampin’ Up!
The first is one of the cards we made in class last week. The idea is CASEd from Pinterest but I’m not sure who first came up with the design. It is a really simple layout and almost a single layer card so really quick and easy to replicate.
The card base is Basic Black with a layer of Whisper White cut @ 10cm x 14.4cm on the front and another on the inside. I used two of the 2018-2020 In-Colors – Grapefruit Grove and Pineapple Punch both first and second generation stamping. I love the transparent look of the balloons. I stamped the inside as well
The next one is exactly the same but this time I used Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight inks.
The next card has a Thick Whisper White base and a layer of Basic Black and another of Whisper White and I stamped two clusters of three balloons using Grapefruit Grove and Pineapple Punch inks. For this card I hand drew the strings for the balloons.
I have already shared the last card on my Instagram and Facebook pages. The card base is Basic Black and I added the numbers and name with the Making a Difference stamp set, which makes personalising cards so easy.
If you’d like to purchase any of the items used simply click on the photos below to go to my Stampin’ Up On-line store, or click here for a general browse.
I’d love to know if you have a favourite.
As always, thanks for popping by.
