Hello my friends and happy Sunday!
I hope you are enjoying the weekend, relaxing in the sunshine or shade, meeting friends or family and generally having fun. We are still enjoying wonderful weather in West Sussex so after going out early for our morning dog walk, I decided to spend a bit of time in my craft room. However, I have lost my creative mojo at the moment – think it’s evaporated in the heat haha!!
So today, I decided to CASE (copy and share everything) page 18 of the current Stampin’ Up! annual catalogue using an old favourite, Flourishing Phrases. Here’s the first card I made, the only difference is the DSP and ribbon.
The base is Coastal Cabana cut @ 10.5cm x 29.8cm scored @ 14.9cm. The background was created by stamping the largest image from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink. The Wood Textured DSP is cut @ 10.5cm x 5cm and the edges distressed with snips, The flowers and leaves were stamped on Whisper White in Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Lemon Lime Twist and fussy cut. The sentiment was stamped in Coastal Cabana on Whisper White and punched with the Pretty Label punch. A few clear epoxy shapes add the finishing touches.
You can watch me make the second version by clicking on the link below. All dimensions are the same but this time the base is landscape, the Wood Texture DSP is torn and Iridescent Sequins add the finishing touches. I also stamped a matching envelope.
