Hello friends
Today I’m bringing you an easy fancy fold card.
The card below was made for a dear friend using the Petal Palette Suite. I’m going to miss the Petal Passion DSP but thankfully the stamp set has carried over into the new 2018-2019 annual catalogue. The sentiments are from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set which has also carried over.
Viewing from the top, lets you see the shape of the card and I love this type of card as it folds flat for posting. I used some of our Watercolor Pencils to colour in the DSP, flowers and robin – so easy.
I used the Petals and More thinlits to die cut the birds, flowers and branch. What would I do without my Big Shot – it really is worth the investment, imho. It is one of my favourite tools, who am I kidding, all of them are my favourites haha!! I added a panel on the back so I had space to write a personal birthday message.
Grrrrr – I’m having technical difficulties again!! I’ve tried twice today to record a video but both times it failed …. so frustrating! Is it me or the software? I’m sure it’s NOT my phone, I absolutely love my Samsung A3. Ok, I’m heading back to the craft room – wish me luck!
Woohoo, success – so this time I made a card without using my Bigshot. You can watch the video below, I’m sorry, it’s been a long day and I rushed it but was determined to get one done. I used two of my favourite stamp sets Petal Palette and Daisy Delight – I’m such a sucker for flowers and the Daisy punch makes it so quick and easy to make pretty flowers. I hope you like it?
