13 years – lucky for some!

Hello friends

I hope you had a good Easter and managed to spend some quality time with friends and family. I cooked a lovely roast lamb for our parents on the Sunday. We all ate and drank too much but I’m rather proud to say we haven’t yet touched the Easter Eggs!!

Monday was our 13th wedding anniversary. I met my husband in March 2001 and married at the beginning of April 2005. I can honestly say the time has flown and I . I started the day by looking through our wedding photo’s but got a little sad as we have lost too many loved one’s since. I had to shake it off and focus on the happy memories of a wonderful day spent with our nearest and dearest.

I wanted to share a photo of the card I gave to my husband using Timeless Textures and Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamps sets, both of which come in wood and clear mount. I also used Bloomin’ Heart and Lovely Words Thinlits. As I used some of the amazing Silver Foil sheets for the heart I wanted  a touch of glitter so added a strip of Tear and Tape, sprinkled on a bit of silver glitter and voila!!

I added an extra video on my YouTube channel showing a different version of the 2-for-1 cards I made using the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set. Here are some photo’s:-
