Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Bouquet cards – 2 for 1 technique

Hello friends

I’m bringing you some fun cards made using the wonderful Beautiful Bouquet stamp set from the current Stampin’ Up! annual catalogue which you can download as a pdf here.

I love this technique as it’s a quick way to create two clean and simple cards from one stamped piece.

With a new catalogue coming soon, I decided to use one of the retiring 2016-2018 In-Colors so the two A6 card bases are made from one A4 piece of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock cut @ 14.8cm and scored at 10.5cm. The stamped Whisper White layer is cut @ 10cm x 14.3cm and the aperture is cut using the Big Shot (one of my favourite cardmaking tools) and the second largest oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies. Using Sweet Sugarplum, Blushing Bride, Rich Razzleberry, Fresh Fig and Lemon Lime Twist classic inks and keeping both pieces together the flowers and leaves are stamped so they go across the cut line of the oval.

One piece is used on each card with a matching stamped layer of Whisper White for the inside.

A few Glitter Enamel Dots add the finishing touch.

These colours are so lovely together.

I’ve made a video which you can watch below:-
