Happy Easter everyone

Hey friends

I hope you are all well? I’m just back from a week’s R&R in Gran Canaria – it was sooo lovely spending time with my gorgeous husband and friends relaxing in the sunshine. The UK is cold and gloomy by comparison!

So a quick share today of a couple of cards we made at class earlier this month. The first uses the gorgeous Blossoming basket bundle which is only available during Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration, which ends in a few days, although I believe the Basket Weave dynamic impressions embossing folder may be carrying over into the next annual catalogue.

This next card is a fun fancy fold. I really enjoy making different styles of card – this one is an easel card made from half a sheet of A4 cardstock. The “eggs” are made from a small balloon from the Balloon Bouquet punch and they’re nestled in a basket made with one of the dies from the Window Box Thinlits set. I also used the largest of the squares and the smallest oval dies from the Stitched Shaped Framelits. The stamp sets I used are Wood Words, Timeless Textures and Teeny Tiny Sentiments which all come in wood and clear mount. A piece of Cherry Cobbler 1/4″ Double Stitched Ribbon adds the finishing touch.

The side view shows how the card get’s it’s name. I was thinking about doing a video to show how easy and quick these type of cards are made.
