January class makes

Hello my crafty friends

I nearly forgot to share the other two projects we made at class earlier in the month. You have already seen (in earlier posts) the Valentines Day card made with Heart Happiness and the Anniversary or Wedding card made with the Petal Palette stamp sets.

Here are all four projects.

The other two cards showcase Sale-a-bration (SAB) stamp sets. For those who haven’t heard of SAB and to be honest I hadn’t heard about it before joining Stampin’ Up! In a nutshell, from 3 January to the end of March each year SU offer a range of amazing products that can be earned for FREE, yes for FREE, with a qualifying order – how great is that! Click here to look at what’s on offer at the moment.

The card below on the left is the one I designed for class. My samples were given away, as two of my ladies didn’t have enough time to make it themselves! The one on the right uses other stamps from the Happy Wishes set which is a new level 2 SAB set but otherwise is the same.

The card base is Calypso Coral. A Very Vanilla panel is stamped with Early Expresso Classic Stampin’ Ink and the tiny flowers coloured using Subtle Stampin’ Write Markers. A small piece of Gold Foil Sheet was punched each end with the Triple Banner Punch then cut it in half  and glued to the back of the panel. The gorgeous Gold 3/8″ Metallic Edged Ribbon and Pearl Basic Jewels add a perfect finishing touch.

The final project uses Lots of Lavender another SAB set. The card base is Elegant Eggplant with texture added with the Petal Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Both stamped Whisper White panels are layered on Lemon Lime Twist and die cut withLots of Labels and Layering Ovals Framelits. A Delicate White Doilie and Linen Thread add the finishing touches.
