I got to play this weekend!

Hey crafty friends

I feel so blessed, as I got to play with the amazing new Stamparatus from Stampin’ Up! this weekend.

My lovely friend and upline, Victoria McLafferty, was on the Leader to Leader team (a group of SU employees and demonstrators that volunteer and collaborate on the development of new products) and the team got to order this new stamp positioning tool before everyone else. Anyway, Victoria go hers delivered just before the New Year and she let me take hers home to have a play. I’ve ordered one but have to wait for delivery next month!

So this is the card I created after my first play. I’ve used one of the new Sale-a-bration stamp sets Beautiful Peacock.

I’m rather pleased with the way it turned out. I used Tranquil Tide, Tempting Turquoise and Whisper White cardstock with Tranquil Tide and Tempting Turquoise ink. Stitched Shapes Framelits create the frames around the peacock and small sentiment. Both sentiments are heat embossed in Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Gold sequins add a bit of blimg!

I made a quick video – I’m out of practice so its full of waffle – I mean FULL! Anyway, I hope you’ll learn a little about this new amazing tool.

This stamp set is lovely. It is one of the products that can be earned free with an order of £45 or more. Here’s another card I made using Elegant Eggplant and Melon Mambo. I’ve got lots of other ideas but as usual didn’t have enough time to do more crafting!
