I fell in love with the Beautiful You Clear- Mount stamp set when I saw it at my first Stampin’ Up On Stage in November last year.
I especially like the sentiment “Life may not be the party we had hoped for, but while we’re here, we might as well dance.” The whole stamp set has an artistic feel with lots of lovely sentiments in a lovely font and is, in my humble opinion, a must have set.
This simple card is one we made at my card class last week.
The sentiment and lady were stamped using Tuxedo Black Momento Ink Pad, on Crumb Cake cardstock and colour added with several of the Watercolour Pencils. As I love a bit of sparkle, who doesn’t, I used the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush on the dress and hat.
The stamped matting layer is cut at 10 x 14.3cm and is added to a standard A6 Crumb Cake card base.
To add a bit of interest, I decided to round the corners on the right hand side of the card base and matting layer using a We Are Memory Keepers Corner Chomper. I like to do this as it adds something a little different. The inside sentiment is again stamped in Momento ink on to a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock cut to 10 x 14.3cm.
Here are two other cards made using this wonderful stamp set. I’m sure you’ve seen lots of other examples. I know I will enjoy using this set for years to come.
