Quick tip to Straighten Ribbon and 6 One Sheet Wonder cards

Morning folks

I’ve been giggle to myself because not only did I make my video public by mistake when I uploaded it last night but when I watched it this morning I realised I’d only painted the nails on my left hand !!

So the video is slightly different from my usual card making ones because although I show you some of my recent makes, it starts with a quick tip. You can watch it below – I’d love to know what you think!

I needed to make some thank you cards and thought I’d try a One Sheet Wonder so I could use some of the new DSP. They can be complicated but this is what I came up with. The cards are simple and quick to make.

I made a set of 6 cards using 3 sheets of Whisper White card stock, 1 sheet of 12″ x 12″ DSP, half a sheet of  matching card stock and Whisper White card stock for embellishments plus some ribbon, basic rhinestones and liquid glue.

The card bases are half a sheet of A4 either landscape or portrait and scored in the middle. I then cut a sheet of Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack at 14.3 cm and 28.6 cm and cut those down to 10 cm wide – I’ve tried to show what I did below on some retired DSP:-

I used a panel of DSP on each card. There are so many different designs you can come up with here is the set I made using the Berry Burst paper, card stock, ink and ribbon.

I also used  Label Me Pretty Clear Mount BundleStitched Shape Framelits and Butterflies Thinlits Dies. As I needed thank you cards, I used a sentiment from the Fabulous Flamingo Photopolymer Stamp Set. The cards are finished off with a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Here ‘s the set made using Lemon Lime Twist paper, card stock, ink and ribbon. The layouts are a little different – there are so many different options!

On these cards I also used Bold Butterfly Framelits and the Decorative Ribbon Punch.
