Do you struggle with Sympathy cards?

Happy Saturday!

I’m a little late posting again – sorry about that. This week has been a little hectic with my day job taking priority, which is only right.

Luckily, I also found time to do some crafting …. I try to be creative every day even if it’s only cooking dinner! I also managed to learn how to add some social media icon’s to my blog (still a few to go) and how to create a wifi hot spot from my mobile phone – I’m quietly chuffed with myself lol!!

Today I wanted to share some simple and elegant sympathy cards made using the versatile Flourish Phrases clear mount stamp set from Stampin’ Up! I often struggle to make sympathy cards – I try to keep them clean and simple and with this stamp set that’s easy.

All four cards are made with Whisper White and Crumb Cake cardstock (standard A6 card bases, which is half a sheet of A4, either landscape or portrait). I used Crumb Cake Classic Stampin’ Pad to stamp the images on each of the cards, either full strength or stamped off once. I, of course, stamped envelopes to match the cards.

I made a quick YouTube video tutorial for the last card.

Supplies used;-

Top folding Crumb Cake A6 card base – 10.5 x 29.7m scored at 14.85cm

Whisper White matting layer – 10 x 14.45cm

Whisper White strip for the sentiment – 3.81 x 9 cm

Crumb Cake Classic Stampin’ Pad

Blushing Bride Stampin’ Write Marker

Banner Triple Punch

Blender Pen – they come in a pack of 3 which is great value!

Stamping Sponge

Multipurpose Liquid Glue
