Another card using the new Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set by Stampn’ Up!

Happy Sunday one and all

I wanted to share one more card based around the final project we made at my recent classes. As mentioned in my last post all the cards used the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Bundle.

This card is CASEd (COPY AND SHARE EVERYTHING) from the very talented Sam Hammond aka Pootles. I really love clean and simple cards without too much layering as I’m always conscious of postage costs in the UK which are extortionate!

In the class, the colours we used were Blushing Bride and Rich Razzleberry so this time, I decided to use Tempting Turquoise and Dapper Denim – don’t they go well together?

I actually made three versions (as you can see below) as I love showing how to step up projects but just changing or adding a few extra embellishments or embossing.

The first card (bottom left) is clean and simple and very like the original although I decided to offset the Dapper Denim matting layer to change it up a little. The second card (bottom right) is stepped up by adding some stamping (the bubble balloon stamp from the set) to the base to create a background and the Dapper Denim and Whisper White panels are smaller (7.4cm x 9cm). I love the way it turned out.

The final card and the one I filmed is the most detailed with the card base embossed using the Petal Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, The Dapper Denim and Whisper White panels are popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the final addition is some Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine. Here’s the video on my YouTube Channel.

I’m amazed that I’ve got 145 subscribers already but would love to increase my audience and if you live in the UK and would like to order any of the items I’ve used you can click on the links above and you’ll be taken (if I’ve done it right lol) to my on-line shop.

If you have any questions, would like to come to a class or hold
an event please get in touch at lynniecdesigns@gmail.com. I would love to be your demonstrator and share my passion for all things papercraft with you!

As always, thanks for popping by.
