Triple Layer Stamping – looks tricky but really isn’t

Hi folks – I hope you are all well?

I know I’ve been MIA for a few weeks – sorry! Here are a few cards I made and I even did a quick video for the one on the right which you can find on my YouTube channel but I didn’t manage a blog post as it takes me so long.  I tend to waffle – perhaps you noticed!!

Oh and I also put together some Survival Kits for a girls weekend in Rome, Italy. Six of us went on a two night city break and we had an absolute ball. We were truly blessed with glorious weather and it is such an amazing place. I need to go again as we didn’t have enough time to see everything!

The girls loved their survival kits, which had tissues, plasters, paracetamol, hand sanitiser, hand cream, chewing gum, chocholate etc!

Since coming home, the first chance I’ve had to do any crafting was today so I decided to try triple layer stamping, which is something I’ve not done in a while and I love the way my card turned out. This colour combination – Rich Razzleberry, Sweet Sugarplum, Blushing Bride and Sahara Sand – is gorgeous. I used floral images from the Blooms & Wishes photopolymer stamp set (#141784) and added a butterfly die cut with a Big Shot using the smallest detailed die from the Bold Butterfly Framelits Dies (#138135). The card is finished off with some retired/ing ribbon and Basic pearls.

The card base is A6 ie half a sheet of A4 cut in half and scored at 10.5cm. The layers are:-

10cm x 14.4cm – whisper white

8cm x 12.4cm – rich razzleberry

7.5cm x 10.4cm – whisper white

5.5cm x 8.4cm – rich razzleberry

5cm x 7.9cm – whisper white

So here is the video – enjoy! I am so happy to have reached the milestone of 100 subscribers to my YouTube channel. As a prize I will send a bundle of the cards I’ve made to the first subscriber to email me at lynniecdesigns@gmail.com – just send me your address!
