When I signed up as an independent Stampin’ Up! (SU) demonstrator in October 2015, I joined a fantastic team of ladies called The Paper Mates, led by the lovely Victoria McLafferty (aka Very Victoria Crafts). We are a small team based in Sussex, mostly hobby demo’s. I was welcomed into the team and have really enjoyed getting to know everyone and love the time we spend crafting together.
Anyway, Victoria is having some building work done so our monthly team meetings / crafting sessions have temporarily relocated to my home. We were thinking about what projects to do at our February get together when we saw an amazing project initially on a closed Facebook Group for SU Demonstrators, designed by another very talented UK Independent SU demo, Sanjay Soriano from Mitosu Crafts – I hope he won’t mind me adding the following links:-

Well we decided we just had to make our own version and I love an excuse to play with my craft supplies!! It uses the wonderful Window Shopping bundle from the SU Spring / Summer catalogue.
and the Botanical Builder framelits from the SU annual catalogue.
Here’s my prototype – the base is Night of Navy card stock with Wisteria Wonder panels cut using the Stitched Shape framelits, the floral die cut panel is Whisper White and has a piece of vellum on the back coloured with Stampin’ Write Markers. The flowers and leaves are die cut in Wisteria Wonder, Soft Sky, Rose Red and Old Olive. White enamel dots finish it off nicely.
The big shot is an essential tool for making this as there is so much die-cutting but hope you’ll agree it turned out really well and I’ve given this one to my Mum as she needed a bit of cheering up! This is definitely a card for the more experienced crafter but is well worth the effort.
This is the version we made on Wednesday evening a slightly different colour scheme – Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry instead of the Wisteria Wonder and Rose Red.
The back of each has a panel where you can write your message.
The great thing is it folds down and can fit into a 6″ x 6″ envelope. There is some dimension but not too much and in any event it would be easy enough to build a matching envelope box with the SU Envelope Punch board.
