Saturday crafting! Stampin’ Up! Make A Medallion

Hi Folks

I’ve been itching to have a play with a couple of Sale-A-Bration items; the gorgeous Glimmer Paper (6″ x 6″ sheets in Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron and Sweet Sugarplum – 143831) and the beautiful Make A Medallion stamp set. – 143274.

Today’s video shows you how I made one of these cards in Elegant Eggplant and Sweet Sugarplum. The background is embossed using the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder – 143231, which creates amazing texture whether using the embossed or de-bossed side. I also used one of my new favourite tools the Stamp-a-ma-jig – 101049 – to help me line up the second image. It didn’t quite go to plan but I left in the blooper to show how easy it is to flip the card and try again.

My second monthly card class was on Thursday night and I was so pleased my friend Nicky came back. We had a lovely evening making three card projects. I really need to spread the word and find more people to join the fun and find their creative side.
