Quick Butterfly card using Stampin’ Up Products

Happy Sunday folks!

Today, I’m sharing a pretty butterfly card, inspired by one I found on Pinterest created by the very talented Julie Kettlewell, one of the top UK Stampin’ Up! demonstrators.

I love butterflies and one of the first SU stamp sets I purchased when I discovered SU was Papillon Potpourri (123759) and the matching Elegant Butterfly Punch (127526) and the Bitty Butterfly Punch (129406) from the SU annual catalogue.

The base is a standard A5 size with Very Vanilla card stock. The butterflies are stamped down the right hand side of the card in Watermelon Wonder and Pacific Point in and then fussy cut around the outside edge. I used a Stamp-a-majic (101049) to position the butterflies exactly where I wanted them. I stamped them again adding a bit of sparkle with a Wink of Stella Brush, which acts like a blender pen pulling ink onto the butterfly wings. Using the matching punches, the butterflies were punched out and glued using Tombo multipurpose liquid glue. The sentiment is from the Special Reason stamp set (142902) from the Spring / Summer Occasions catalogue stamped in Pacific Point and layered on a piece of Watermelon Wonder card stock. These were both die cut using Stylish Stems Framelits (142750) and stock onto the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
