Quck elegant two tone card using Stampin’ Up! products

Happy Sunday everyone!  It’s a wet and windy evening in the South of England but its been a lovely weekend and in between walking the dog, housework, cooking and other chores, I managed to squeeze in a bit of crafting ……

Yesterday, I was playing with the gorgeous Stampin’ Up Window Shopping bundle from the Spring/Summer Occasions catalogue trying to design some original projects for my first solo card classes later in the week (how exciting is that!) and one of the cards I came up with is this one:-

The square floral image from the Window Shopping stamp set is stamped in Elegant Eggplant and three squares are cut from matching cardstock using the second smallest square from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. One of the Flower Shop flowers and a Petite Petals flower are heat embossed in silver and punched using the matching Pansy and Petite Petal punches. Layering them and adding a pearl in the centre gives a pretty effect. The little tag is also heat embossed in silver and cut using a die from the bundle. The 1/8″ silver ribbon on the tag and on the side finishes the card nicely. The stitched square in the second row is popped up on a dimensional as is the little tag. The card base is thick whisper white.

I’ve made my second video and decided to use Rich Razzleberry ink and card stock with gold embossing and ribbon. I can’t decide which I like better – what about you? I’ve obviously not mastered video editing yet so it’s a bit chaotic but I wanted to share it as I’m really chuffed with the outcome.

Here are the two versions side by side.

Thanks for stopping by.
